【建築6】Toilets for all

Usually I work in Omotesando-Aoyama area.

This area is one of the most famous tourist spot. There are boutiques of luxury brands, apple pie stores, coffee shops, and also a new store of Apple opening soon.

Though there are many people visiting this area, there are not much restrooms for the public. Most of the time you would have to use the restroom of the luxury boutiques.

So I have an idea.

This is a restroom designed by a Japanese architect , Sou Fujimoto. Why not make a restroom that could be monumental like this in the Omotesando-Aoyama area? It doesn't have to be this big but a site specific restroom would be interesting.

Naming rights could be sold for a public restroom but how about a restroom that could be tourist spot? what do you think, TOTO or LIXIL?
